REQUIREMENTS
The educational programs offered by the Universities are accompanied by the fulfillment of different requirements requested by each of the institutions. However, there are several requirements that are usually a common denominator for any educational program and these are:
- ADVANCED ENGLISH: In almost all courses it is essential that your level of English is high so that you can have a good academic performance within the course. As proof that you have the appropriate level of English, the Universities will request a certification (IELTS, TOEFL, CAMBRIDGE). It is for this reason that many international students first start with English programs in order to achieve these certifications.
- CERTIFIED COPY OF YOUR DIPLOMA OR CERTIFICATE OF HIGH SCHOOL OR HIGH SCHOOL AND / OR YOUR BACHELOR’S DEGREE
- If you want to study a master’s or doctorate, the University will probably request your curriculum or resume, letters of recommendation and a letter explaining the reasons why you want to study the chosen program.
It should be noted that any of these documents must be presented in your original language, notarized and translated by an official translator.
Australia has many organizations that help regulate and control the quality of higher education such as the Higher Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) created by the Australian government to regulate university and non-university providers of higher education, control quality and set standards.
It is important to note that the well-being of all international students, the quality of their educational experience, and the right to access up-to-date and accurate information is protected by law under the Education Services for Foreign Students (ESOS).
In addition, another tool that the Australian government offers you is the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching website, QILT (Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching. This portal gives you the possibility to compare higher education institutions and study areas thanks to thousands of surveys carried out on students and former students. With this tool you will be able to compare the satisfaction of national and international students, as well as the percentage of graduates who are on track to work full time and their average salary.
