Australia has a wide range of educational offerings for international students depending on your personal goals. In particular, education, technical training and vocational training courses or better known as VET courses are professional development programs that allow their students to acquire skills directly related to the labor market in a specific profession.
These courses are born as part of a partnership between the government and the industry promoting the generation of professionals trained for job placement. Much of these vocational qualifications are awarded by government institutions such as Technical and Higher Education Institutions (or TAFE for its acronym in English) and also by private institutions.
In order to enter these programs, it is important to take into account that you must meet a minimum level of English of upper intermediate or Upper-intermediate. The higher your level of English, the greater your educational, employment and immigration opportunities.

It should be noted that Australia has many organizations that help regulate and control the quality of international education such as the Higher Education Standards and Quality Agency (TEQSA) and the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). The latter is responsible for guaranteeing the quality of education for international students in VET courses.
